On 3/30/19, we reported the following. "In the case of Duncan v. Becerra, Judge Roger T. Benitez of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California found California’s ban on commonly possessed firearm magazines violates the Second Amendment."
Judge Benitez ruled, the law would fail and
characterized it as
“turning the Constitution upside down.”
Then this happen. Responding to a motion from the California Department of Justice, who issued a permanent injunction against enforcement of California’s “high capacity” magazine ban, US District Court Judge Roger Benitez has just issued a stay of his own injunction. That means that the window for ordering standard capacity magazines end's at 5pm Friday, 4/5/19.
In a one week time frame, Californians made it clear what they think about gun control. In concert with gun manufactures opening high capacity gun magazines sale to California, Californians went on a buying spree.
The UK Daily Mall reported that during the one week time, "more the a million high-capacity magazines flooded California during a one-week window created when a federal judge temporarily threw out the state's ban, gun owners' groups estimated on Thursday."
